For sale is a new FTP intake pipe for various BMW B48 models (list below). This is completely new and unused. It was also not used for trial assembly.
Description:
"This intake pipe replaces the factory plastic pipe. In vehicles with an increase in performance, the increased boost pressure can cause the original pipe to burst. In the worst case, this defect can lead to engine damage due to fragments being sucked in.
This aluminum tubing reduces air turbulence while increasing airflow. This results in faster turbocharger response and higher maximum possible power. The software of the engine control unit does not have to be retuned here. Even at very high boost pressures, there is no longer any risk of bursting. The installation is relatively easy because the clean air pipe plug'n'play is exchanged for the standard part.
